Assignment 1: Something I Am

TASK

My task was to choose one prompt from each category to relate it to myself. By making a few slides with Empathy, Define, Ideation, Prototype, and Presentation.

What I chose was Something Black, Something Fantastic and Something Bright.

These 3 pages are all my empathy pages. For these three slides, I just took a piece of paper and tried to just brainstorm and just write down what I think of while I think of each prompt.

These 3 pages are somewhat a bit challenging but also fun at the same time, while I was doing these pages I wasn't really clear with the instructions, and while with some help from Mr. Paul. I did it with ease.

On these 3 slides, I tried to draw out a scenario that really explains what I am trying to express. I did have some tries and with the first and second ideation but on my last ideation I was very pleased with it as it really showed what I wanted to express.

In this stage, I really just tried to further improve my ideation and this stage took a few days as I just kept thinking of how does it improve my initial ideation till my final product in prototype 3.

On the presentation slide, I added a title to the slides to finalize it

This first assignment was really a learning curve for me. As my tutor really push me to produce my full potential and also thought just how to be me. One lesson he thought me is to have good workmanship for my work and not just do a sloppy job. One skill that I have gained is that I learned is that always thinking out of the box really helps in expressing how we think.
